We purchased our home in December 09 and never thought we would be in store for the issues we would be dealing with 7 months into living here. I do all the laundry in my home (daily) and have a fairly new Maytag. I was stumped on why my laundry was not drying. My husband contacted Dryer Vent Wizard in Avon, IN and they came out the next day. We found out within the first 10 min several issues that we would have never thought would be a problem. First, the side vents outside our home were stuck closed. Second, there was a bird's nest in the vent, and there was no way for the air to flow in or out. Third the aluminum foil dryer vent we were using was a MAJOR fire hazard! Never would we have thought of that since they are sold at EVERY hardware store. How scary this was to hear and to know I have 4 kids, my husband,and myself in this home that is a fire hazard. The technician for Dryer Vent Wizard was very professional and explained everything that was going on in great detail to where even I could understand. He made me feel very comfortable with the service he was providing for my home and for the safety of my family. The prices he gave us were very reasonable considering I am out of work right now and we are on a budget. I will and would recommend this company to everyone. 5 stars all the way.
