One of your technicians by the name of Chris Roth just finished working
on my dryer vent. I just wanted you to know he did an outstanding job.
For the first time in years my dryer is drying clothes in a reasonable
amount of time. Chris was also extremely neat and meticulous about his
work. I sincerely appreciated that. I will definitely recommend your
company to my friends, and when I get my vent cleaned next year, I'd
appreciate it if Chris could be the technician. You're a very lucky
person to have an exceptional employee like Chris. He definitely went
above and beyond the call of duty.

Hi Glen,
I admit I actually CAN tell a difference in my dryer's performance. I
would say it's 30% faster than before and I no longer smell the fabric
softener and heat in the foyer like I did before. I also just feel
better knowing it's not a big fire hazard! We appreciate the discounts.

I just wanted to send you a message to let you know that my dryer cycle
now finishes before the washer cycle. It is great! I can dry towels in
only one cycle. And, with all of the kid’s back-to-back sporting events,
I can have baseball uniforms dry for the next day. It seems like a small
thing but it sure can make a difference in your day.

Dryer was taking 3 tries to dry a load of towels. When I checked the
vent it was dangerously clogged. Checked Angie's List, found the
listing, called and had an appointment for next day. Technician arrived
on time, was pleasant, located the problem, gave the estimated and began
work. Work was competed in about 1.5 hours. Estimate was accurate and I
just dried a load of towels in one try!
Your Dryer Vent Wizard technician, Chris, was out on Saturday and what a
GREAT JOB he did. I am so pleased with my dryer I actually put a load in
this morning and by the time I left 40 minutes later my clothes were
dry; usually it took 2 dryer cycles to get them dry.
He found connection problems with three of my neighbors’ dryer vents and
corrected and cleaned all of them also.

We had purchased our home in December 09 and never thought we would be
instore for the issues we would be dealing with 7 months into living
here. I do all the laundry in my home (daily) and have a fairly new
Maytag. I was stumped on why my laundry was not drying. My husband
contacted Dryer Vent Wizard in Avon, IN. and they came out the next day.
We found out within the first 10 min several issues that we would have
never thought would be a problem. 1st off were the side vents outside
our home were stuck closed. 2nd was a birds nest in the vent, and there
was no way for the air to flow in or out. 3rd was the aluminum foil
dryer vent we were using was a MAJOR fire hazard!!!!! Never would we
have thought of that since they are sold at EVERY hardware store. How
scary this was to hear that, and to know I have 4 kids, my husband and
myslf in this home that is a fire hazard. The technician for Dryer Vent
Wizard was very professional and explained everything that was going on
in great detail to where even I could I understand. He made me feel very
comfortable with the service he was providing for my home and for the
safety of my family. The prices he gave us were very reasonable
considering I am out of work right now and we are on a budget. I will
and would recommend this company to everyone. 5 stars all the way.

Description Of Work:
I needed a transition from a foil collapsible vent line to a rigid (and
much safer) vent line. Also, I needed a vent cover replacement on the
outside of my house that would keep rodents out.

Chris arrived on time. He had previously called to verify my appointment
(which I appreciate). Upon arriving he inspected my dryer and the
outside cover to determine what it would take to bring the venting up to
code. He put on a rigid vent line to replace the old one. This was
approximately 4 feet of dryer vent. He used joint tape to finish it off.
He put up a new vent cover replacement that looks much better than the
old one. It will also protect against rodents. This cover also allows
the air to flow more freely. When he was finished he demonstrated to me
on his meter that more air was flowing than before. My dryer is now
safer, more efficient, and the venting and outside cover look much
better.!

Whole process was excellent. Set up appt. with Glen, Chris came out on
time, friendly and professional. After surveying my situation, he wrote
up an estimate to do the job and was able to do it right away. I'm very
pleased. I was told that they mainly do dryer vent but he agreed to do
bathroom exhaust also.

He cleaned the vent for me. He made a big deal about using the coupon.
He explained that they go by the feet where the vent exits the wall and
I only had one foot. The vent dryers usually have a guard that is
tightened on to the back of the dryer and exit box. He told these off
and used aluminum tape and said they would work better.
Description Of Work:
Since the dryer was not working the way suppose to do, I had the
flexible vent line in the attic replace with semi rigid pipe for 9 feet
to the attic vent. The flexible line was 50% clog

I would recommend this service, Dryer Vent Wizard to everyone (very
competitive rates and professional for the service performed) The whole
process took about hour to change over everything. This was point out
every 2-3 years, I would need to have the dryer vent clean out because
lint /moisture will clog this up over time
